LAST WEEK IN JUNE
It has been decreed that the sun shines on Linkert Attacks. To date that has been my experience and that is why the date is unmoveable.
MacGyver has moved to Montpelier in the south of France and while we have been growing webbed feet in most of Europe he has been boiling in 30ยบ + heat.
Not so on his 5 hours return from Linkert to Montpeilier on Sunday. This is what happens when you nick my 7/16 spanner.

SAY GOODBYE
I said goodbye to my beautiful family and headed off to NYC to have an affair with an '81 FXE... she was sweet as and a keeper but true to my previous post about passing it forward I have done the necessary and passed it on to a friend in Sweden who was looking for this exact model and was born in '81 [bastard].
Now that gives me the need for a project.... I couldn't chop up that shovel, too unfucked with.
In the States I met Caleb and JD from Culver City. They have their own style going on - all up and not so much out, JDs is the one with the paint. In my opinion they were the best riding bikes in Brooklyn.
Caleb rode with us down south and I got to see him firing though the winding roads on his dry build bike - it tracked beautifully, no doubt Caleb can ride but still whatever geometry he has got in that thing let him push hard round the corners.
Anyone interested in selling me a 68 FLH project get in touch.....23bricks@gmail.com... so I can get a bit of Culver City.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT IN WONDERLAND
And so it was time to go out to the Lewis Leathers/Sideburn thingy up west.... and as ever in wonderland it was shitting down. Being a hardened biker I went in my car.

There were alot of people there and a small showing of soggy bikes and riders including Dave Carroll, Huggy, Conrad and Barry.
Just when I was giving up hope on the Widows a dirty rumble comes down the street and Stef appears, taking one for the team, no waterproofs, open face, no glasses - showing class Stef.
Then off to get fed...

as we left just beside where I'd parked the car we came across this sticking out of a garage - all ends well [and even better when I received that video of Stef riding home].

TO CUT OR NOT TO CUT

Stefan is planning to run this S&S 2 Throat in France.... he wants to cut the backing plate up to leave a couple of venturis... nice plan BUT I says these carbs are getting hard to find and this one came with instructions and everything so it would be a shame to chop it and he should run it as it comes.
What do you think???? it may have some effect but I doubt it as he likes to CHOP.
