On the way to

North Weald

I remember my friend Shinya used to race here, he rode his Triumph to get here and then change sprocket, take all lights off, set timing, tune carb, do sprint!! and then put it all back, rode it home. He was a proper old school sprint racer!
Docklands Speed Shop is what he does now in Japan, named after where he used to live and built his racer in front garden.

THE REAL I.R.A.

Irish Roadside Assistance aka Jim and Liam. The 2 guys trying to stand tall are Italian and Mongrel. If you ever breakdown pray to god that Liam passes by and not Don Guilio or me.

PISTACHE IS BACK

This year Pistache will be featuring a red front fender from a 1986 XLH, forks from an assemblage of early 33.4mm fork and front end parts, Mr Wims hashish gas tank, Morales' confiscated shifter knob, a 50s or 60s sporty buddy seat and blacks jacks speedball hard bags.
Underneath all this comfortable garbage still lies the greasy black bitch that is Katrina.
My eyes hurt but my arse is will be very grateful on my lightning trip to Clermont-Ferraud this weekend.

DANISH BACON

thanks Motorious Lars

Spitzenklasse AMcN

American Motorcycles Norway, a proper riders blog, has a great set of reports on his trip to Linkert Attacks, in one was possibly my favourite comment ever:

'Actor Haggis (the not so shy guy) and his semi Spanish friend riding Haggis hill climb knuckle, we love you both for the Friday trip to Sancerre where we had our spitzenklasse lunch together.'

Thank you AMcN for bringing the sun out on this dull day.

LAST WEEK IN JUNE

It has been decreed that the sun shines on Linkert Attacks. To date that has been my experience and that is why the date is unmoveable.

MacGyver has moved to Montpelier in the south of France and while we have been growing webbed feet in most of Europe he has been boiling in 30º + heat.

Not so on his 5 hours return from Linkert to Montpeilier on Sunday. This is what happens when you nick my 7/16 spanner.

Wh'appen Beefy

I met Matthias of LeBeef Kustom Metal Works at The Castle Run [where I had left my phone on the plane so no pics], loved his bike and others there that he had either done all or part of [he is too modest to say].... anyway I asked him to make me a shifter for my knuckle and when I got home yesterday I opened a package from him before I took my helmet off [ you do dont you if you know whats inside is good shit].
Since I have no camera [as I left my phone on the boat you will have to take my word for it that he and his work rock, check his SITE out, remember that bill you had promised to pay this month, fuck it, go shopping in Sweden.

He made my shifter when he said he would, chromed that fucker in turn around time and sent it even faster. He also is an owner of a super rare blue and yellow w-w-n-w-w patch...

here is a little pic of one of his builds, tomorrow I will give you a little movie from MacGyver showing how we do things differently!
